autolatex
AutoLaTeX is a tool for managing small to large sized LaTeX projects. The typical AutoLaTeX input file is simply a series of variable definitions in a Makefile for the project. This Makefile was automatically generated by a provided Perl script. The user can easily perform all required steps to do such tasks as: preview the document, or produce a PDF file. AutoLaTeX will keep track of files that have changed and how to run the various programs that are needed to produce the output. bib2ml (aka. bib2html)
bib2ml (aka. bib2html) is a Perl script which permits to create a set of HTML pages or an XML file from a BibTeX file.
It proposes a convenient look and a lot of features (PDF downloading, scientifical domain tree...).
Disclaimer: I’ve come across mention of other bib2html programs (see below for a non-exaustive list). This program is in no way related to any of them. For the curious, it was implemented using Perl.

bouml

Bouml is a free UML 2 tool box (under development) allowing you to specify and generate code in C++, Java and Idl.
Bouml runs under Unix/Linux/Solaris, MacOS X and Windows.
Bouml is very fast and doesn’t require much memory to manage several thousands of classes, see benchmark.

Gforge
This page contains unofficial packages of Gforge able to be installed on a Ubuntu Linux Distribution.
Christian Bayle proposes on his site unofficial Debian packages for Gforge, and he participate to the official packaging on Debian.
Ubuntu team provides Gforge in its package repository. Unfortunately, these packages can not be used to install properly Gforge on a Ubuntu "Feisty" distribution (until Springer 2007). libsane-epson-perfection
Sane is a powerfull Linux tool that permits to use scanners. Unfortunately, the Epson Perfection 2580 scanner is not completely recognized by the drivers provided by Sane.
The libsane-epson-perfection packages provide the official Epson’s Windows(r) drivers inside a Debian/Ubuntu package.

nautilus-audio-convert
Nautilus-audio-convert is a Gnome Nautilus’s extension that permits to convert audio files.
This project is no longer alive because the package nautilus-script-audio-convert provides the same service. But this project could reborn if you want bug fixes or dedicated developments on it.
NetEditor
The Arakhnê Network Editor (NetEditor) is a free Java 2 component that permits to edit and show connected-graphs (or networks). NetEditor is only composed by a drawing area in which you can draw nodes and edges.
